Hazardous Waste Collection

If you missed the recent Household Hazardous Waste collection day at our transfer station, no problem.  Now that Mt Holly is a member of the Rutland County Solid Waste District we are no longer limited to just two days per year to get rid of our Household Hazardous Waste.

We can take it to Rutland as follows….

“The RCSWD Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot at Gleason Road in Rutland City is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Most household hazardous wastes are accepted from District residents at no charge. Call 802.770.1333 for more information.”

OR to any town that is a member on the days listed on this web page….

Also, there will be one more collection day at our transfer station on Sept 29, from 8:00 am to noon.
