NEW HAPPENINGS AT PLYMOUTH ELEMENTARY

Submitted by Linda Rossi

For those of you that don’t know, the Plymouth Elementary School will open for the 07-08 school year on Wednesday, August 29th.

There will many changes this year and here are but a few.

First, the kids said goodbye to Pam Jocelyn last year. “Mrs. J” as she was known by all, left to pursue other interests, and we wish her all the best. She will be replaced by the new 3-6 teacher, Sara Lesparance. Sara brings with her 6 years of experience. I just know that she will fit right in, and the kids will love her.

Also new to the PES team this year is Susan O’Brien, who will be the new principal. I had the opportunity to meet her at the school meeting last week, and she is ready to make changes that will be exciting for the school. She has great ideas, and her concerns are the children first. I’m sure you will all get a chance to meet her, and let her know what your ideas are as well, as she is interested in what WE ALL have to say.

We are lucky enough to have returning this year, Ms Pam Jasmin. I got to know Pam last year and she has a wealth of experience that we are lucky to have again this year.

I for one am happy that she is back, and I look forward to working with all the teachers.

So feel free to stop in to the school at anytime and see for yourself what team work is all about.

Until next time, don’t forget there are only 14 more days until the kids return to school.
